Washington, D.C.– Today, President Biden will be in Philadelphia to deliver a prime-time address on the threat to American democracy and the “continued battle for the soul of the country.”
Polling from the Business & Democracy Initiative finds that business leaders share significant concerns about the risks to American democracy, and that the business community wants to be active in protecting and strengthening our democratic institutions.
The polling also finds that business leaders don’t just recognize the importance of protecting democracy to support a vibrant economy, but are increasingly taking steps to support democracy and empower their employees to do the same.
The research shows that business leaders are more determined than ever to protect American democracy, because threats to our democracy put our economy at risk.
