MILWAUKEE – County Supervisor Felesia A. Martin will host a virtual town hall with Congresswoman Gwen Moore (WI-4) on Monday, November 22, from 5-6:30 p.m. The town hall will focus on American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, the Build Back Better agenda, and the recent federal infrastructure bill signed into law this month.
Interested community members can register at County.Milwaukee.gov/Martin. The town hall will include brief presentations and discussion on the aforementioned topics before moving to Q&A from attendees. Attendees may ask questions live or email them in advance to Supervisor Martin’s Legislative Assistant at Daniel.brophy@
Supervisor Martin and Congresswoman Moore will be joined by Milwaukee County Office on African American Affairs Executive Director and ARPA Task Force member Jeff Roman, who will be available to answer questions and provide additional details on the county’s ARPA funding allocation process.
This is the second ARPA town hall hosted by Supervisor Martin. The first occurred on October 25 and included County Executive David Crowley, State Representatives Evan Goyke (AD-18) and Supreme Moore Omokunde (AD-17), and Director Roman.
Supervisor Martin and Congresswoman Moore invite all Milwaukee County residents, especially those from Supervisory District 7 and Congressional District 4, to join them on Monday.
