It’s Make-It-Happen Monday! Yep. It’s time to make it happen. The things that didn’t get done last week may have carried over into this week. But let me stop you before you freak out. IT’S OKAY!
Not completing all your tasks is okay even if it’s not okay. Stressing yourself out beyond measure IS NOT OKAY. Being overwhelmed is NOT the move. Being anxious is NOT the solution. NOPE!
So before you get all frustrated, tiring yourself out, let me help you.
Step 1
Breathe!
Stop what your doing and breathe. Literally. Put every task away and just listen to the sound of your breath.. You’re here. You woke up this morning. You’re able, willing, and ready. You are in control of this week. You are in control of this day. You’re only one person and there’s only 24 hours in a day. Breathe. Understand that as long as you plan this week out properly and execute, the things that need to get done will. Just breathe.
Step 2
Prioritize and Plan
Instead of stressing begin to plan. Come up with a realistic plan that will work for your schedule. Everything that you need to do, write it down. After writing them down, prioritize each task. What absolutely needs to get done today, do it. Repeat this exercise each day.
Step 3
Execute
Do it! Do it! Do it! Knock it out! Set timers and times that each of your tasks need to get done and go for it. Know what time you need to be working on what. Follow the plan and execute.
Taking this no stress approach keeps you in a healthier mind space as you work. You feel better and work better when you know what you’re doing and when you need to be doing it. So let’s rock out this week. And remember to breathe, plan, and execute.
