2021 is here! Whew! It seems like it took forever. Nonetheless it’s here and last year is gone. Granted life hasn’t changed much just because it’s a new year but life can change if you’re willing and you’re ready.
There’s nothing extremely special at this time of the year besides the tone of the atmosphere. Because it’s a new year, many people are making goals and resolutions. Many people are planning for the things they want to change this year. There’s an “out with the old and in with the new” type of vibe happening, unconsciously.
While many people believe it’s cliche to start things fresh at the top of the year, I believe with the way the world is going and how it went last year, there’s no such thing as cliche. This is a new year and we still have some new obstacles on our plate.
Last year was a complete trial run against life and the corona virus. Granted not much has changed and if anything, it has gotten worse. We are still in a space where we are trying to figure it out.
This year has to be about safety and focus. There’s lots to adjust to. And there’s lots to change. Goals have to be set and met. Change must happen. A shift in your lifestyle must take place. The question is, what am I willing to change?
What habits do I need to get rid of? What emotions am I carrying into the the new year? Am I happy with my current lifestyle? What things do I need to change about myself? How can I make changes.
Where is my focus? Is it hard to focus? Am I chasing my dreams or am I staying in the same cycle? How can I improve? How can I treat myself better. What do I want my life to look like in 2021?
It’s time to figure it out, plot, plan, and execute.
