According to Fox6news, a Milwaukee police pursuit Saturday night, June 25 ended in a crash and the arrest of three teenagers.
Police said the crash ended on the eastbound off-ramp on I-43 at Capitol Drive around 9:30 p.m.
A 17-year-old boy who was driving was arrested along with two female passengers ages 17 and 16.
According to police, the vehicle was stolen in an armed robbery and the teens are expected to face charges.
It was stated that a 6 year old girl was also taken into custody. This continues to break my heart. The kids clearly feel worthless. They don’t have any value on their lives. It’s like they’re ready to die at any moment.
Kids as young as 6 are being put in handcuffs and taken away due to some else’s senseless choice.
I’ll continue to ask, what are we to do? How are we going to tackle this community issue? Who’s going to step up. Right now, countless teens have been dying. And at this rate, countless amount of teens will find themselves in prison. We can’t let our future go down like this.
It’s one thing to play the blame game, but it’s another thing to play your role in making Milwaukee better. We must plan out ways to help, distract, and educate these kids. They think they got it, but they really don’t.
