On Friday just two days after being sworn into office, President Biden signed a fury of executive orders aimed at the pandemic. One in which will increase food stamp amounts for qualified families. Meaning those who have struggled with the rising prices at grocery stores, could see a boost in benefits in early February. Another executive order was set in motion, to help individuals who may not have gotten either stimulus check a second chance. Some did not receive them as a result of banking error, or a busy IRS that is getting ready for the upcoming tax season. The order requires that more attempts be made to those individuals. Minimum wage will also increase to 15/hour, to help with the financial burdens. More actions are said to be signed this week, I pray all are stable and healthy have great Monday.
