MILWAUKEE— Join Mayor Tom Barrett next week for the next two webinars in the Moving Milwaukee Forward Safely series. Neighborhood retailers and Spanish speaking bar and restaurant owners and food vendors are invited to learn about how to stay safe during COVID-19.
Experts from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Health Department and local restauranteurs will share the latest on COVID-19, update operators on health orders and capacity rules and hear how Milwaukee businesses have adapted to reduce risk for customers and staff.
A panel will be available to answer questions about COVID-19, health rules and how to adapt business to increase safety. Panelists include: María Salgado, City of Milwaukee Department of Health; L. Silvia Munoz-Price, MD, PhD, Medical College of Wisconsin; Marcos Isidoro and Suzana Martin, Tu Casa Mexican Restaurant; Jesús Gonzalez, Zocalo Food Park; and Leonardo Gomez, El Rey Food Mart.

The following day, Mayor Barrett and panelists from the Medical College of Wisconsin and Health Department will be joined by DeShea Agee of the Bronzeville Business Improvement District and JohnRae Stowers of Martin Drive’s JazzyRae Jewels.
Shop owners will learn what City of Milwaukee health orders mean for their stores and how they can reduce COVID-19 risks for customers and staff. Attendees can put their questions to the panel and learn about best practices for moving forward safely.
