If you are like most Americans, you have already gotten your stimulus check. The funds have been allocated to bills, food or perhaps house hold upgrades. Whatever the use, Americans are awaiting the news on the second round of payments, and here is the latest.
The U.S. National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow has this to say. “I think we need to move from rescue and assistance to more long-term economic growth incentives.”
“ For example, the president mentioned payroll tax holidays for the workforce, he talked about capital gains, he talked about tax breaks for restaurants, entertainment, sports contests, he’s talked about tax breaks for tourism. “Those were the hardest hit areas… so we’ll be looking at assessing that as time goes by.“
He goes in to talk about assessing the numbers in the economy, as the early reports shows a faster recovery then expected.
When asked about an approximate time the Senate could reconvene to discuss, although not concrete he estimated right after July 4th.
