The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County is hosting its annual Toy Shop distribution this week.
This year, registered parents/guardians will pick up pre-packaged boxes of toys based on a toy request form filled out by the parents/guardians when they registered.
Salvation Army volunteers have been sorting and boxing up the toys for the past few weeks.
On distribution day, registrants will arrive at their appointment time to pick up their toys.
Each parent will receive two toys per child, a stuffed animal per child, one book per child, either two games or two puzzles, or one game and one puzzle per family, as well as a stocking stuffer bag per family.
To date, 2,389 families and 6,183 children are registered. Registration is closed for 2022.
