Discounted Tickets on Sale for Indaba Ball
Event funds community entertainment; price goes up Dec. 1
Early-bird discounted tickets for the 2023 Indaba African Ball, which kicks off Black History Month on Feb. 4 in Milwaukee, are on sale now until Dec. 1 at stanncenter.org/indababall.
The ball begins at 5:30 p.m. and takes place at St. Ann Center’s Bucyrus Campus, 2450 W. North Ave.
This year’s ball, the fourth, will feature a powerhouse combination of two popular entertainers – Christopher’s Project with Joe Jordan. Also on tap for the evening will be African and Caribbean-flavored hors d’oeuvres, a guest-participation fashion show for everyone in African or African-inspired apparel, honoring of local history makers and more.
Early-bird registrants save $10 on their admission by purchasing before Dec. 1, when the price goes up to $75 per person. Space is limited, and Gloria Miller, special events director at St. Ann Center, advised people to register soon to avoid disappointment.
The ball raises funds to provide a free weekly series of local entertainment series each Wednesday throughout the summer. Sponsorships are also available.
