MILWAUKEE – County Supervisor Felesia Martin issued a statement recognizing the nursing and
all staff members at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin, Aurora Advocate, Milwaukee Health Services, Inc., and Ascension Wisconsin for their courage under fire during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I would like to thank all of the nurses and other hospital staff who continue to serve and care for our community,” said Martin. “Thank you for being our heroes and choosing to care for those affected with the virus, while putting yourself and loved ones at risk. I extend my deepest respect and gratitude for all of the work you all have continued to do throughout this pandemic.”
Currently there are 6,577 confirmed coronavirus cases in Milwaukee County with a total of 259 deaths. Healthcare professionals are working diligently to combat the spread of the virus in Milwaukee County by providing the necessary resources to support people who are infected.
