Today, you can Google Black History giants and enjoy learning about the accomplishments of Black giants in a plethora of fields, such as Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth and John B. Russwurm and Samuel Cornish, Dr. Francis Drew, Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, Ida B. Wells-Barnett, and George Washington-Carver.
Lather historical legends include Fannie Lous Hammer, Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., his close associate in the struggle, Rev. Ralph Abernathy; civil rights soldier and Congressman John Lewis, Rev. Jesse Jackson and U.N. Ambassador for the U.S. (and former Atlanta Mayor) Andrew Young.
Even later, and more recent figures such as Henrietta Lacks, Justice Thurgood Marshall, Josephine Baker and General/Secretary of State Colin Powell, President Barrack Obama and his talented wife, Michelle.
