Last week I bared the cold and went out to the 24th Annual Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival and had a remarkable time. We feasted on cookies from the DoubleTree hotel and hot chocolate, we also enjoyed live music, performances, plus so much more. I was able to capture the Christmas light display and made a video for you all to enjoy!
Just because the temperature has dropped doesn’t mean the festivities have been put on hold. Below is a list of events and places to visit this holiday season but before you go there are a few things to remember to dress for the weather. If the event is in Downtown Milwaukee and it is going to be 40 degrees outside, dress as if it’s 20 degrees since it is colder near the lake.
Also, dress small children in bright clothing and coats; when there are Christmas lights, there will be darkness and you want to ensure that you can see and keep up with them. Since most events are held outside the bathrooms might be limited so drink less and make sure to find a well-lit, warm, comfortable place to use the restroom before going to the event.
