Motivated Mondays: Affirm It

August 15, 2022 By MKE Community Journal Leave a Comment

Feeding your mind positive things is such a powerful tool. It helps to fight depression or

sadness. It helps you develop a better and safer mindset when feeling down. It also gives you a bigger and better vision on the things you see and experience.

Whether you’re watching a movie or a YouTube video, whether you’re reading or having a conversation with someone, what you feed your mind often times becomes your reality. I remember being in a dark place. I was sad, frustrated, angry, hurt, and trying not to become bitter.

None of those emotions were a reflection of my natural character. They came from being mentally beat up by words that weren’t so nice. I was in a relationship where I was getting verbally and emotionally abused. I was sad and fighting bitterness. I was ready to shut down on the world and then I realized that I wasn’t being myself.

I have to find a way to get back to me. I had to dig my way out of my depression. One of my techniques was to speak affirmations. The tongue is a very powerful tool, whether someone’s using there’s to get to you or you’re using yours to get to yourself. Your words hold weight.

Maybe you’re having a rough start to your day but you promised yourself a good week. You want to be optimistic. You want great things to happen and flow into your life this week. Well, let’s start by speaking it.

Here’s some affirmations to start with:

“I have the will and desire to reach unlimited heights of success.”

“I try my best everyday.”

“As I take on new challenges I feel calm, confident, and powerful.”

“I love me,”

“I am passionate about constantly being better and more successful.”

“I deserve the life that I plan to live.”

“I have unstoppable confidence within me.”

“I will love ME first.”

“My life is filled with abundance and prosperity.”

“I am made to win.”

“My mind is free of resistance and open to the possibilities.”

“I’m blessed beyond measure.”

“Every day and in every way, I am getting and feeling better and better.”

“I am worthy of amazing things.”

“I am the master of my wealth.”

“I am loved.”

“I start my day in gratitude for what I already have and all of the life blessings that are coming my way.”

“I forgive others quickly.”

“My actions create constant prosperity.”

“I deserve prosperity.”

“I forgive myself when I fall short.”

“I embrace new avenues of income.”

“I take accountability for my actions.”

“Money comes to me in expected and unexpected ways.”

“I’m grateful for today.”

“I have such an amazing life.”

“Happiness is my birthright, I am worthy of all the good life has to offer and accept it now.”

“I have everything I need to be happy right now.”

“I am effortlessly attracting health, wealth, happiness, and love.”

“Nothing can stop me.”

“Abundance flows through my day — I have all the happiness, love and positive energy I need today to have the most amazing day.”

I will follow my dreams no matter what.”

“I feel so much joy and happiness at this moment and radiate that energy throughout my day.”

“My journey is bigger than me.”

“Every day in every way I am feeling happier and happier.”

Say these to yourself in the morning and start your day off right! No matter what was going on before. Breathe. Let it go. And be kind to yourself. Speak Life!

Motivated Mondays: May Affirmations

May 2, 2022 By MKE Community Journal Leave a Comment

It’s officially the month of May and all things are possible. Anything you put your mind to, you can do. I mean absolutely nothing can stop you. You just have to believe it. You have to see. You have to surround yourself with good people and good thoughts to get it done, but it can get done.

Watch how you talk to yourself. What comes out of your mouth becomes a reality. So keep it positive this month. Only partake in things that put you where you wanna be. Keep people around you that believe in you and understand you.

Keep a positive mind. Choose to be better. Choose to love and love on you. Choose peace. Walk away from anything that does not serve you. Say no when you have to. Saying “no” is often times a “yes” to self love. So don’t be afraid.

Mindset is everything. Here’s a few affirmations to say to yourself every day this month.

  • I am successful.
  • I am confident.
  • I am powerful.
  • I am strong.
  • I am getting better and better every day.
  • All I need is within me right now.
  • I wake up motivated.
  • I am an unstoppable force of nature.
  • I’m allowed to take up space.
  • My past is not a reflection of my future.
  • I am strong enough to make my own decisions.
  • I’m in control of how I react to others.
  • I choose peace.
  • I’m courageous and stand up for myself.
  • I will succeed today.
  • I deserve to feel joy.
  • I am loved.
  • I respect myself and those around me.
  • I will accomplish my goals.
  • Nothing is too far fetched.
  • This is my season.
  • I was born to win.
  • I’m not afraid to step out of my comfort zone.
  • I own my house.
  • I run a successful business.
  • Money comes to me.
  • I’m a winner.
  • I am enough.
  • I love myself.

Saying these everyday can make a change in your mindset. It can keep you in position and focused. Say these to yourself all month and measure the progress you’ve made by the end of the month.

You got this.
