Milwaukee Health Services Inc. is pleased to announce that guest will receive groceries and children’s winter coats while supplies last courtesy Children’s Community Health Plan, Tri City National Bank, Greater Birth and New Feeding America on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Together, Milwaukee Health Services Inc. (MHSI), Children’s Community Health Plan, Tri City National Bank, Greater New Birth, Spic and Span and New York Life will host a Harvest Health Fair on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at the Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center at 8200 W. Silver Spring Drive.
“The primary objective of the Harvest Health Fair is to provide access to health care services, supply nutritious groceries and warm winter coats for children,” says Pamela Clark, Corporate Communications Specialist for Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. “Community service has always been an important part of the mission of MHSI. The Harvest Health Fair provides an opportunity for our employees and collaborating partners to give back to the community we serve.”
Guest may receive flu shots, immunizations, health screening for memory, diabetes, high blood pressure, cervical cancer, and dental screening. While on site, shop the Farmer’s Market for healthy fruits and vegetables. Enjoy food, games and prizes.
Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center offers same day appointments. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, services are delivered regardless of ability to pay, offering a sliding fee scale for the uninsured according to household income. MHSI certified Benefit Counselors are available to answer insurance questions.
