Value Your Friends: How to be a good friend
Honesty
Out of almost all of the characteristics of a true friend, honesty is one of the most important. Be real with your friends no matter what. No one wants to build a relationship with someone who’s not being real. Tell the truth and be a person someone can trust. Be honest, but also understand just because you’re honest doesn’t mean you’re right.
Being Nonjudgmental
Don’t judge your friends. Listen to them. Even if something seems completely out of the ordinary, respect them. Keep a safe space for open communication.
Gas Your Friend
Support and acknowledge your friend and their accomplishments. Cheer them on! Be present on special occasions. Give them compliments and inspire them to keep going!
Reliability
Don’t be that friend that no one can count on. Be the friend that’s there. A reliable friend stays faithful to their obligations, and is trustworthy. If you make a promise, keep it.
Easy Going
Don’t make it hard to be your friend. Don’t find yourself offended often. Be courteous and willing to listen to the other party’s side and perspective of any disagreement or misunderstanding. Listening to their reasoning can provide clarification.
Take Responsibility
You’re not always right. Just because it sounds right, doesn’t mean it is. You make mistakes. You fall short. No one is perfect.
Do Nice Things
Plan outings and events. Go out and do things. Experience life. Travel. Live.
Apologize
When you are wrong, say that. Maybe you did the wrong thing by accident, maybe you overreacted, maybe you made your friend upset. Regardless of what happened, if you were in the wrong, apologize. Allow space, if necessary. Then move on.
Although these are just a few tips to being a good friend, these tips can go a long way. Friendships are important. They literally shape the trajectory of your life. So keep the right people around you and cherish their love, energy, and time. Show your friends that they are valued.
1.5 Billion Taken Away?
Quality of education and overall education needs, has been a topic and issue in Milwaukee for some time . The recently passed corona virus bill sent money billions to many states for issues like, health and education. In Wisconsin, we were allotted 1.5 billion for education. Recently the U.S. Department of Education had a warning to Wisconsin, that if the funds were not spent on education we would lose it. superintendent of schools that the state could be in jeopardy of losing $1.5 billion in federal funding if a Republican education plan becomes law.
The Republican-controlled budget committee on Thursday approved spending roughly 128 million on education, and putting aside $350 million into a fund that could be used later for education expenses or anything else.
But the DOE warns that unless that money is spent on education, it could jeopardize the $1.5 billion sent to Wisconsin under the federal coronavirus aid bill.
I personally hope to see the entire funds issues on bettering the quality and environment of schools in under severed communities.

As the number of vaccinated people increases around the world , including the city of Milwaukee, the mask mandate is set to expire on June 1st. The health ordinance requiring mask set by the CDC, was recently retracted by the department. May 13th is when the announcement was made, that fully vaccinated people no longer needed mask. As a result the original health order in Milwaukee, is ending two weeks prior to the original date of June 25th. This also meant that the limitations on gatherings, occupants and spacing is no knifed in effect. Mayor Tom Barrett who made the call the end on Tuesday said that,
“the CDC’s announcement spurred the city into rethinking its COVID-19 response.” That’s when we started the process of implementing expert advice to determine how the City of Milwaukee will move forward,” the mayor said.
Experts realized that some may still wear a a mask at their own comfort level, and others should respect that.
I have looked forward to this day personally, but understand others opinion on the matter. Enjoy the great weather this week, welcome to the last week of masking.
Millennial Movers
Millennials have become the most ambitious generation, as it relates to entrepreneurship. According to an examination conveyed, Millennials, Americans born between 1977 and 1995, are literally the most entrepreneurial. Half of Millennials plan to start a business in the next three years and more than half said that with the right resources they would quit their job to start a business in the next six months.
This is no surprise. Millennials have become innovative and clearly see a different way of life than those that came before. Most millennials feel that working a 9-5 is depressing. Work loads are too high and the pay is too low. Becoming a supervisor or manager is truly not the dream of a millennial.
The greatest age portion, Millennials, have started more businesses and organizations than both Baby Boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) and Generation Xers (born between 1965 and 1976). Remembering that they’re eager to work for themselves and accept accountability for their own money, Millennials acknowledge they need to exploit more resources for manufacturing productive associations.
Millennials are beginning to find out more and more about finances. They’re learning more about credit and how to use it as leverage. They are getting into grant writing but sometimes resources are still limited.
The fight for a better and wealthier lifestyle continues as millennials pursue their dreams. They have high hopes and big dreams. They don’t doubt the power of work. They just prefer more flexibility and higher returns on investments, whether time or money. Millennials want to be happy while they make money and in control.
What about you? How do you feel about entrepreneurship and the materials available? Do you feel millennials lack resources? Do you know of any resources to help?

Evers stated I declared 2021 the Year of Broadband Access because everyone in this state should have access to reliable internet service,” Evers said in a statement. “Between our Badger Bounceback agenda investments and these federal funds, we’re taking a major step toward connecting everyone in our state. I’m glad to be able to direct this funding to the PSC so the folks in need of high-speed internet can get connected as quickly as possible. I also urge our state legislature to pass our Badger Bounceback agenda to allocate an additional nearly $200 million for broadband access and provide financial assistance to low-income households struggling with their internet bills. This isn’t a question of providing federal or state funding for broadband — we must do both to ensure folks can get connected.”
The money for the project more than doubles, what has been the spending allowance given to Evers on the matter.
The project ha atypically gotten around $52 million total, spoilt between more than 200 projects in the state. what has been able to spend during his term using just state money. In the previous two years, the broadband expansion program spent $52 million on 130 projects across the state.

Where are the safes? What’s stopping us from protecting our youth from these types of weapons?
